We close out this semester's virtual alumni series with a treat! Giles Turner is a 2003 alum and now a patent attorney. From his website, he "primarily focuses his intellectual property practice on the preparation and the prosecution of patent applications directed to semiconductors, polymers, separation processes, batteries, metallurgy, oil field technology, packaging, hygiene solutions, material science, mechanical inventions, biotechnology, and nanotechnology." Prior to this work, he was a process engineer in the semiconductor industry and a researcher with a polymer manufacturing company. COVID-19 vaccine and Merck Pharmaceuticals

The AIChE student chapter at Montana State University is very excited to announce a very special virtual seminar and follow-up Q&A. Joseph M. and MD A. are both scientists currently working on vaccine development at Merck Pharmaceuticals. They will be discussing issues related to vaccine development - including the vaccines Merck is developing to treat Sars-CoV-2 (COVID-19).
