MSU AIChE 2020-2021 Officers

Madison Martinez - President

I am currently a senior studying chemical and biological engineering. Upon graduating this spring, I anticipate attending graduate school the upcoming fall to get my PhD in chemical engineering. AIChE has given me an opportunity to get more involved with my peers as well as faculty in the department. When I have some free time, I'm probably going to be drinking iced coffee and doing a sudoku puzzle.

Katie Bauer - Vice President

I am a student from South Saint Paul, Minnesota studying Chemical Engineering. I enjoy spending time in The Peyton Laboratory helping to research components of Nitrate Dependent Iron Oxidation. When I’m not studying or working in the lab I enjoy playing with my dog Theotokos, rock climbing, snowboarding, and scuba diving.

Callie kiedrowski - Secretary

I'm a chemical engineering major and my favorite class in school has always been chemistry. Outside of class I like to spend time outdoors, anything from hiking to a walk around the block. I grew up in Woodbury, Minnesota but I was born in Helena, MT and I'm to be back in the mountains!

Zayd al-Kaisy - Treasurer

I am currently a senior studying Chemical Engineering with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. When I am not studying I enjoy snowboarding, camping, working on cars, and spending time with my friends and family. I grew up in Bozeman and am excited to see where AIChE and my further studies take me.

Payton Belli - K-12 Outreach officer

Hi Everyone! My name is Payton Belli and I am the K-12 Outreach Officer. I am a dual chemical and biological engineering major. After graduation, I am looking to pursue a career in biomedical engineering. I joined AICHE to get involved, meet people in CHBE, and I loved the idea of building a STEAM community through the k-12 program. Outside of school, I really enjoy trail running, backpacking, and snowboarding (sorry skiers!). If not out of cell service, I can be found feeding my caffeine addiction at one of the local coffee shops! I am Looking forward to working with you all.

Delaney Stine - ChemE Car Captain

My name is Delaney and I am a senior in chemical engineering with a minor in mathematics. I will be graduating this spring and at the moment my goal is to work for the Idaho National Laboratory researching efficient and environmentally safe energy. I am the captain of the ChemE Car team here at MSU, but I also take part in the WIE and SWE chapters. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends, reading, watching shows, hiking, camping, and walking my dog.

Austin Sech - Technical officer

My name is Austin and I am a senior studying chemical engineering. I intend to go into the oil and gas industry after graduating next December. My interests are in process control systems particularly DMC level and higher advanced process control systems. I am the Technical Officer for the MSU AIChE chapter managing the website and other tech related needs. In my free time I enjoy wood and metal working as well as spending time with my dog Misha.
